Cylinder Head






Tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.)
Tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.)
Tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Rotate the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 additional 90° turn

Tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.)






SURFACE VARIATION - WARPAGE

If tolerances exceed 0.0508 mm (0.002 in.) replace the cylinder head.






CAMSHAFT BEARING CAP

Install the camshaft thrust plate
Tighten retaining bolts 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.)
