Removal
6.4LThe Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (2) is installed into the rubber air intake hose near the front of the throttle body.
1.
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from IAT sensor (2).
2.
Turn the IAT sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise and remove the IAT sensor from the rubber air intake hose.
3.
Inspect the sensor probe (3) for any damage.
4.
Clean any dirt or debris from sensor base.
