Power Seat Switch

POWER SEAT SWITCH

DRIVER SEAT WITHOUT MEMORY SEAT SYSTEM





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the power seat switch from the seat Power Seat Switch - Removal.
3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch using the following table. If not OK, replace the inoperative power seat switch. If switch tests OK, check for an open or short in the power seat circuit wiring. If no open or short is found, replace the power adjuster motor(s) as required.

DRIVER SEAT WITH MEMORY SEAT SYSTEM





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the power seat switch from the seat Power Seat Switch - Removal.
3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch using the following table. If not OK, replace the inoperative power seat switch. If switch tests OK, check for an open or short in the power seat circuit wiring. If no open or short is found, replace the power adjuster motor(s) as required.

PASSENGER SEAT





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the power seat switch from the seat Power Seat Switch - Removal.
3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch using the following tables. If not OK, replace the inoperative power seat switch. If switch tests OK, check for an open or short in the power seat circuit wiring. If no open or short is found, replace the power adjuster motor(s) as required.
