1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Locate the front axle sensor (1) from within the left front fender wheel house.
4. Disconnect the vehicle wire harness connector (4) from the connector receptacle for the front axle sensor.
5. Remove the screw (3) that secures the sensor link lower mounting bracket to the left front lower control arm.
6. Remove the screw (2) that secures the sensor mounting bracket to the left end of the front suspension crossmember.
7. Remove the front axle sensor, mounting brackets and link from the vehicle as a unit.
