Trailer Tow Relay - Installation





INSTALLATION






NOTE: There are three relays included with the trailer tow preparation wiring kit. They are: the trailer tow right stop/turn relay (4), the trailer tow left stop/turn relay (5) and the trailer tow park lamps relay (6). The service procedures for all three relays are the same.

1. Align the terminals of the trailer tow right stop/turn relay (4), the trailer tow left stop/turn relay (5) or the trailer tow park lamps relay (6) with the terminal receptacles of the trailer tow wire harness (3) relay connector secured to the underside of the rear bumper reinforcement (1).
2. Firmly and evenly push the relay into the connector until it is fully seated.
3. Reinstall the rear fascia onto the vehicle. Rear Bumper Fascia - Installation.
4. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
