Liftgate Glass - Removal






REMOVAL










NOTE: Windshield removal shown, backlite similar.

1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Service Precautions
2. Remove liftgate trim panels. Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal
3. Remove rear window wiper arm, if equipped. Rear Wiper Arm - Removal
4. Disconnect the heated backlite electrical connectors, if equipped.
5. Using a windshield cut-out wire or other suitable tool, separate the adhesive.
6. Carefully remove backlite.
