Front Lumbar Support - Installation






INSTALLATION

NOTE: Left seat back shown in illustrations. Right seat back similar.

HANDLE MECHANISM





1. Route the lumbar support cable housing (8) through the opening in the outboard side of the seat back frame (7) and connect the cable housing to the top of the lumbar support (9).
2. Connect the lumbar support cable (3) to the pivot lever (2).





3. Position the lumbar support handle mechanism and cable (1) to the outboard side of the seat back frame (3) and install the two retaining screws (2). Tighten the screws securely.
4. Install the seat back cushion and cover Outer Trim Ring Panel - Installation.
5. Install the seat back Seat Back - Installation.
6. Install the seat Seat - Installation.

LUMBAR SUPPORT





1. Position the lumbar support (9) to the seat back frame (7) and engage the lumbar support to the horizontal rod (1) located near the bottom of the seat back frame.
2. Engage the lumbar support to the two vertical rods (4 and 12).
3. Connect the two rods (5 and 11) to the plastic retainers (6) located on each side of the seat back frame.
4. Connect the spring (10) to the top of the lumbar support.
5. Connect the lumbar support cable housing (8) to the top of the lumbar support.
6. Connect the lumbar support cable (3) to the pivot lever (2).
7. Install the seat back cushion and cover Outer Trim Ring Panel - Installation.
8. Install the seat back Seat Back - Installation.
9. Install the seat into the vehicle Seat - Installation.
