Installation



INSTALLATION


1500 Light Duty







1. Install the transmission crossmember (2), the bolts (1) and nuts (3). Tighten the bolts to 122 N.m (90 ft. lbs.).







2. Remove the transmission support and install the transmission mount nuts (3).
3. Tighten the nuts (3) to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the transfer case skid plate (4) and crossmember (2), if equipped.







2500 - 3500 Heavy Duty Standard Cab







1. Install the crossmember (2), the bolts (1) and the nuts (3). Tighten the nuts to 122 N.m (90 ft. lbs.).
2. Remove the transmission support and install the transmission mount nuts (3).
3. Tighten the nuts (3) to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).










4. Install the transfer case skid plate (2), if equipped.

3500 - 5500 Cab Chassis

1. Install the crossmember (2), the bolts (1) and the nuts (3). Tighten the nuts to 127 N.m (94 ft. lbs.).










2. Remove the transmission support and install the transmission mount nuts (3).
3. Tighten the nuts (3) to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).







4. Install the transfer case skid plate (2), if equipped.
