Air Valve Rod

Fig. 9 Air valve rod adjustment:

1. Using tool C-4207A or equivalent, apply at least 18 inches Hg to choke vacuum diaphragm nipple.
2. Close air valve.
3. Insert a .025 inch plug gauge between rod and end of slot, Fig. 9.
4. Bend rod to adjust clearance to .025 inch.
