B220D-OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER ACCELEROMETER 2 INTERNAL

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on. The Occupant Restraint Controller's (ORC) on board diagnostics continuously performs internal circuit tests.

- Set Condition:
This ORC will set if the module identifies an out of range internal circuit.





REPLACE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER

WARNING: Turn the ignition off, disconnect the 12-volt battery and wait two minutes before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

WARNING: If the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) is dropped at any time, it must be replaced. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

Repair

- Replace the ORC.
- Perform the AIRBAG SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Airbag System Verification Test.
