Sub-Mode 2

HI Mode Diagnostic Chart:




Sub-Mode 2 checks the accuracy of the interior air temperature sensor.

When in this sub-mode, the BI-LEVEL mode indicator will illuminate. The air control module will check the interior temperature sensor circuit and display the interior temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. The normal operating range is -40 degrees to 185 degrees. If the circuit is open or shorted to ground, the display will show "?". If the temperature is over 100 degrees, the OFF indicator segment will also illuminate.
