Owner's Manual Correction, 1992 MMC Import & Diamond Star Vehicles: National Customer Relations Toll Free Telephone Number
The enclosed owner notification and Owner's Manual Addendum card are being mailed to all owners of 1992 model year MMC import and Diamond Star (DSM) vehicles. They correct the National Customer Relations Toll Free Telephone Number which is incorrectly printed in the Customer Assistance section of the Owner's Manuals.
The correct telephone number is (800) 992-1997, not (800) 922-1997 as printed in the MMC import manuals or (800) 322-1997 as printed in the DSM manuals.
Ten copies of the addendum card are enclosed with this letter to each Dodge, Chrysler Plymouth and Jeep/Eagle dealer. Dealers are requested to enclose an addendum card in the owner's manual of each affected 1992 vehicle in dealer stock before retail delivery.
The following models are included: Laser, Colt, Ram 50/Power Ram 50, Stealth, Colt Vista, Talon, Summit, Summit Wagon.

Your satisfaction with your 1992 Dodge, Plymouth or Eagle vehicle is very important to Chrysler. For that reason we are enclosing an Owner's Manual Addendum card correcting the Chrysler National Customer Relations Toll Free Telephone Number which is misprinted in your Owner's Manual.
The correct number is (800) 992-1997.
This number should be used instead of the number printed in the Customer Assistance
Section of your Owner's Manual.
Please retain the Addendum Card for future reference. We suggest that you staple it into the Owner's Manual located in the glove box of your vehicle.
