Fuel Filter: Description and Operation

Fuel Filter Components:






PURPOSE
The fuel filter traps contaminants before they reach critical fuel system components.

LOCATION
The fuel filter is located in the engine compartment on the R/H side of firewall.

CONSTRUCTION
The fuel filter is a replaceable in-line fuel filter that is specifically designed to provide the fuel contaminant protection required by the fuel injection system. It is designed to operate safely in a high pressure delivery system.
