Engine Control Module: Service and Repair
Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Location:
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the glove box.
3.
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ECU.
4.
Remove the screws and remove the ECU.
5.
Reinstall in reverse order.
CAUTION: Do not connect or disconnect the ECU connectors with the negative battery cable connected. A minor spark or voltage surge can damage the ECU.
