Neutral Safety Switch: Adjustments

Inhibitor Switch & Control Cable

1. Place selector lever in Neutral position.
2. Place manual control lever in Neutral position.
3. Turn inhibitor switch body to align end of manual control lever with flange of inhibitor switch body.
4. Torque inhibitor switch mounting bolts to 7-9 lb-ft.

5. Loosen nut shown, and lightly pull end of transaxle control cable in direction F. Torque nut to 7-10 lb-ft.

6. Ensure selector lever is in Neutral position, and switch operates properly.
