Procedure For Defroster Air Distribution Repair

This repair involves replacing the main defroster nozzle, left and right defroster ducts.

1. Remove the instrument panel as outlined in the appropriate service manual.





2. Remove the defroster nozzle, left and right defroster ducts and discard. (See Figure 1)

3. Install the new defroster nozzle, left defroster duct and, right defroster duct to the instrument panel.

4. Install the instrument panel.

5. Check for proper operation of the heater/defroster system.
