Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Replacement

Detailed Component Locations - Engine Control Module:






1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the plastic side panels from each side of the front of the center console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ECM.
4. Remove the screws and remove the ECM.
5. Reinstall in reverse order.

Caution: Do not connect or disconnect the ECM connectors with the negative battery cable connected. A minor spark or voltage surge can damage the ECM.
