Navigation Unit - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. If installed, remove the navigation screen stand (1) by pulling straight up out of the instrument panel.





3. Set the navigation pod remover tool MLR-10313 or equivalent (1) on the navigation port (2) on the instrument panel.





4. Firmly push the plunger (1) down until its fully compressed.





5. With the plunger firmly and fully depressed (1), warp your fingers around the handles (2) of the tool.





6. Slightly wiggle back and forth while pulling up (1).
7. Release the plunger and remove the tool (1) from the navigation port (2).
8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the navigation port.
