Output Shaft Assembly - Assembly

ASSEMBLY

Special Tools:






1. Install the rear bearing race to the shaft using the Bearing Splitter (P-334).





2. Install needle bearing (1).





3. Install the first and second gear synchronizer hub assembly using (C-3095-A).





4. Install the snap ring.





5. Install the needle bearing.





6. Install the second/third driven gears, third gear spacer and the fourth driven gear to the main shaft.





7. Using Bearing Installer (L-4507)(1), press the gears into place.





8. Using (L-4507) (1) install the new rear bearing (3) into place, install the new snap ring to the bearing.
