Output Shaft Assembly - Assembly






ASSEMBLY

Special Tools:











1. Install the rear bearing to the shaft using the Bearing Splitter (P-334).





2. Install needle bearing (1).





3. Install the first / second gear synchronizer hub assembly using Bearing Installer (C-3095-A).





4. Install the snap ring.





5. Install the needle bearing.





6. Install the second/third driven gears, third gear spacer and the fourth driven gear to the main shaft.





7. Using Bearing Installer (C-3095-A) (1), press the gears into place.





8. Using Grommet Installer (8254) (2) and Cup (8109) (1) install the new rear bearing (3) into place, install the new snap ring to the bearing.
