Shift Cable: Adjustments

ADJUSTMENTS

1. Remove the lower instrument panel bezel Instrument Panel Lower Bezel - Removal.




2. Unlock the adjusting mechanism (1) by compressing the spring until it clicks in place.





3. Scribe a line in the adjuster block (1).





4. Hold the shifter towards the 3rd gear gate giving 3-5mm of clearance (1) between the adjuster block scribe line and the lock housing. Release the adjustment lock to secure.
5. Cycle the shifter to ensure that all gears are available and that reverse can only be obtained by pulling up on the lock-out mechanism. Repeat step 4 if necessary.
6. Install the lower instrument panel bezel Instrument Panel Lower Bezel - Installation.
