Liftgate - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. With the help of an assistant and using the reference marks, align and position the liftgate (1) onto the vehicle.
2. Install the fasteners (2) securing the tailgate (1) to the vehicle. Tighten the fasteners to 34 N-m (25 ft. lbs).
3. Install the prop rods, Gas Prop - Installation.
4. Raise the headliner into position and install the push pin fasteners in the rear area.
5. Install the coat hooks.
6. Install the B-pillar trim, B-Pillar Trim Panel - Installation
7. Install the C-pillar trim, C-Pillar Trim Panel - Installation.





8. Connect the washer hose/liftgate harness and install the boot (1).
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
10. Close the liftgate.
