Power Lock Switch - Description

DESCRIPTION

A driver door power lock switch (also known as the door limit switch) is integral to the door latch within the driver door. The power lock switch is actuated by the latch mechanism based upon mechanical inputs received from the driver side inside latch release handle and linkage. A connector receptacle integral to the driver door latch connects the switch to the vehicle electrical system through dedicated take out and connector of the door wire harness.

The driver door power lock switch cannot be adjusted or repaired. If damaged or ineffective, the entire driver side door latch unit must be replaced.
