Air Outlet Temperature Sensor - Installation





INSTALLATION

NOTE: The Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) heating and A/C system uses two air outlet temperature sensors, that are mounted in the right side of the HVAC housing. One is for the instrument panel outlets and the other for the floor outlets.

INSTRUMENT PANEL





1. Install the air duct temperature sensor (2) into the right side of the HVAC housing (3). Make sure the sensor is fully engage to the housing.
2. Connect the HVAC wire harness (1) to the air duct temperature sensor.
3. Install the instrument panel support and cover Instrument Panel - Installation.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

FLOOR





1. Install the air duct temperature sensor (2) into the right side of the HVAC housing (3). Make sure the sensor is fully engage to the housing.
2. Connect the HVAC wire harness (1) to the air duct temperature sensor.
3. Install the shifter housing trim panels Instrument Panel Cover - Installation.
4. Install the passenger side silencer panel, when equipped Silencer Panel - Installation.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
