Flexplate - Installation






INSTALLATION

Special Tools:











NOTE: Do not reuse the flexplate retaining bolts (3).

1. Position the flexplate (1) onto the crankshaft.
2. Install the spacer (4) and new bolts (3) hand tight.
3. Install the (10272) (2).
4. Tighten the six flexplate retaining bolts (3) in three steps as follows:
- Step 1: All to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) in a criss-cross pattern
- Step 2: Loosen all one full turn in a criss-cross pattern
- Step 3: All to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) in a criss-cross pattern

5. Install the transmission AW60T Automatic Transaxle - Installation.
