Transaxle Differential - Assembly






ASSEMBLY

Special Tools:






NOTE:
The differential case and side gears are not serviced separately and must be replaced as an assembly.





1. Install the ring gear to the case.

2. Install the new ring gear bolts (1) and tighten to 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the left side differential bearing (1) using an arbor press and MD 998909 Bearing Installer (2).





4. Install the right side differential bearing (1) using an arbor press and (6448A) Bearing Installer (2).
