Fast Idle Cam Clearance

1. Open and close throttle slightly and observe where fast idle screw contacts cam. The fast idle screw should be set to approximate high cam speed and should strike the second highest step on fast idle cam.
2. After adjusting fast idle cam with fast idle screw, allow choke plate to close. Choke plate should close tightly in air horn.
3. If choke plate is loose, an additional adjustment must be made to pulldown diaphragm rod assembly, by loosening lock nut and tightening turnbuckle until choke plate is tight on air horn.
