DD103 - Check EGRV/EGRA Solenoid and Harness Circuits

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect vacuum line at the EGR valve and connect vacuum line to a vacuum gauge.

- Key "ON", engine idling.

- Look for an increase in vacuum while performing the following:

- Tap the EGR Vacuum (EGRV) and EGR Atmospheric (EGRA) solenoids.

- Wiggle the EGRV and EGRA solenoid vehicle harness connectors and harness circuits.

- Does the EGR vacuum increase?

Yes -- Isolate fault and service or replace as necessary. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
