DD11 - Check Continuity of EGRP Sensor SIG Circuit

- Key "OFF".

- EGR Position (EGRP) sensor disconnected.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Measure the resistance between the EGRP sensor SIG circuit at the EGRP sensor vehicle connector and test pin 27 at the breakout box.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes -- Go to DD12. DD12 - Check EGRP SIG Circuit For Short to Power

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
