KE36 - Check IAC Solenoid/Throttle Body for Damage/Contam.

- Key "OFF".

- Inspect Idle Air Control (IAC) and throttle body for obvious damage. Verify that throttle plate moves without binding and is not bent.

- Inspect IAC and throttle body for excessive contamination and clean if applicable.

- Was any damage or excessive contamination found?

Yes -- Service as necessary. Clear Keep Alive Memory. Clearing Keep Alive Memory (KAM) and Relearn Procedure

Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Go to KE37.
