Overdrive Clutch

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The overdrive clutch holds the coast clutch cylinder and overdrive sun gear to the case during fourth gear. The overdrive clutch also enables the overdrive planetary gear to walk around the sun gear and the overdrive ring gear. The overdrive one-way sprag clutch holds the overdrive ring gear to the overdrive sun gear during drive in first, second, and third gear and overruns during coast and fourth gear.
