Daytime Running Lamp: Description and Operation

The DRL System is designed to turn the high beam headlamps on, with a reduced light output, and without illuminating the high beam indicator lamp in the instrument panel (04320) when the following conditions exist:

- The ignition switch (11572) is on.

- The parking brake control (2780) is fully released.

- The headlamp switch (11654) is in OFF position.
