Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

NOTE: When an instrument cluster replacement is necessary, contact the Cluster Order System at 1-800-259-9700 (U.S.) or 1-905-946-8975 (Canada).

REMOVAL






1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the headlamp switch.






3. Pry carefully to release the four clips and remove the steering column opening cover.
4. Remove the instrument panel finish panel.






1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the instrument panel finish panel.
5. Remove the instrument cluster.






1. Remove the bolts.
2. Disconnect the three electrical connectors.
3. Remove the instrument cluster.

INSTALLATION










1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
