PID Test (Air Suspension Control Module)

1. Monitor the PIDs STEER_A, STEER_B, and VSS_AS.
2. Rotate the steering wheel 90 degrees left and right.
3. If either STEER_A or STEER_B PID do not toggle between HIGH and LOW, GO to Pinpoint Test B. B
4. Take the vehicle for short test drive.
(1) Drive 56 kph (35 mph).
(2) While driving, compare the speedometer to the VSS_AS output on NGS tester.

5. If the VSS_AS PID reads within 8 kph (5 mph) of the speedometer, end the PID Test.
6. Repeat the test drive while monitoring the generic electronic module (GEM) PID VSS_GEM.
7. If the VSS_ GEM PID reads within 8 kph (5 mph) of the speedometer, REPAIR circuit 679 (GY/BK).
8. If the VSS_GEM PID reading is out of the above range, Go to Pinpoint Test C. C
