Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

NOTE: If any concerns are noted with the speedometer, yellow ABS warning indicator lamp, stop lamps, or horn, address those concerns before continuing speed control diagnosis.

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the speed control system.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage; refer to the following chart:

Mechanical
- Damaged speed control
- Speed control actuator cable not attached to throttle

Electrical
- Fuse(s)
- Damaged Wiring
- Loose, corroded, or dirty connections
- Damaged speed control actuator switches
