Flushing

1. Release the pressure in the cooling system by slowly turning the radiator cap one turn counterclockwise. When the pressure is released, remove the radiator cap.

WARNING: DO NOT OPEN THE COOLING SYSTEM WHILE IT IS HOT OR WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.

2. Remove the upper radiator hose.
3. Remove the water thermostat.
4. Temporarily install the water outlet connection without the water thermostat.
5. Use cooling system Flush-All, Flush Kit Hardware Package and Drain Kit to flush the engine and radiator with Ford Premium Cooling System Flush F1AZ-19A503-A meeting Ford specification ESR-M14P7-A.
6. Remove the water outlet connection.
7. Install the water thermostat.
8. Install the upper radiator hose.
9. Fill the cooling system.
