Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the vacuum hoses.
2. Blow through the secondary air injection control solenoid vacuum valve and verify that air flows.
3. Disconnect the secondary air injection control solenoid vacuum valve electrical connector.





4. Apply battery voltage and a ground to the secondary air injection control solenoid vacuum valve as shown.
5. Blow into the secondary air injection control solenoid vacuum valve and verify that air does not flow.
6. If not as specified, replace the secondary air injection control solenoid vacuum valve.
