Antenna, Radio: Description and Operation

ANTENNA

The antenna system consists of the following components:
- antenna grid and quarter glass assembly
- antenna lead-in, front cable
- antenna lead-in, rear cable
- antenna isolator module [vehicle navigation radio (VNR) only]

The antenna receives AM and FM radio waves. The waves are sent to the audio unit through the radio antenna lead-in cable.

The antenna is located on the inside of the right rear quarter glass and can be repaired, but not replaced separately from the glass.

If the antenna cannot be repaired, install a new rear quarter window glass.
