Natural Gas Fuel System

HIGH PRESSURE FUEL FILTER

Fuel Filter:

The high pressure fuel filter (Figure 81) is used to protect the engine fuel system components. A natural gas coalescing and particulate filter is positioned on the high pressure side of the fuel system just prior to the pressure regulator. The filter is part of the regulator assembly. The filter can be disassembled to service the element. The drain plug on the bottom of the housing can be removed to drain any water that accumulates.
