AUDIO SYSTEM

Audio Unit Frequency Interference Suppression Components:

There are four audio units available for the F250-550 Super Duty:
- M100 AM/FM
- M100 AM/FM/cassette
- D100i DM (dual media) AM/FM/CD cassette
- CDX6 AM/FM with six CD in-dash

The Excursion has three audio unit options:
- P100i premium AM/FM cassette
- D100i DM (dual media) AM/FM/CD cassette
- CDX6 - AM/FM with six CD in-dash

All systems are equipped with premium radio speakers.

There are two optional video systems available on the Excursion. They are the digital versatile disc (DVD) system, and the video cassette player (VCP) system.

The audio unit frequency interference suppression components reduce interference transmitted through the speakers by the engine ignition and electrical systems. When installing new audio unit frequency interference suppression components, make sure that a good contact is made at all connections. Remove any paint or dirt between a component and its mating surface. Tighten all nuts, bolts and screws securely. Refer to Specifications.
