Front Fender: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the headlamps and turn signals.
2. Remove the 2 screws at the lower edge of the front fender securing the splash shield.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
3. Remove the running board, if equipped.
4. Remove the 2 lower front fender bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
5. Remove the pushpin at the rear lower edge of the front fender.
6. Remove the 2 bolts securing the lower rear of the front fender.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
7. Open the door, then remove the fender retaining bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
8. Remove the inner rear front fender bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
9. Remove the 3 upper fender retaining bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
10. NOTE: Transfer parts as necessary.
Remove the front fender.
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
