Removal and Installation

NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel filter after releasing the fuel system pressure. Upon disconnecting or removing the fuel filter, carefully drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Disconnect the fuel supply tube-to-fuel filter inlet quick connect coupling.

3. Disconnect the fuel supply tube-to-fuel filter outlet quick connect coupling.

4. Remove and discard the fuel filter.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new fuel filter.
