Antenna - AM/FM

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the antenna mast from the antenna base.





2. Remove the antenna base.
1. Remove the radio antenna base cap.

2. Remove the 3 screws.






3. Remove the fender splash shield.
1. Remove the 3 screws.

2. Remove the pushpin and the fender splash shield.






4. Remove the cowl side trim panel.

5. Locate the the antenna cable connection between the antenna base cable and the antenna cable routed through the instrument panel to the Audio Front Control Module (ACM).

6. Disconnect the antenna base cable and push the base cable and grommet (B) though to the outside fender well.
- Lift and remove the antenna base and base cable (A).






7. Remove the instrument panel finish panel.

8. Locate and follow the AM/FM antenna cable from end to end and disconnect the retainers from the wiring harness and the wiring harness trough.

9. Remove the audio unit. For additional information, refer to Audio Control Module (ACM) Audio Control Module (ACM).

10. Remove the AM/FM antenna cable.

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
