Instrument Cluster Finish Panel

Removal and Installation

1. If equipped with tilt column, position the steering wheel in the full DOWN position.

2. Remove the 2 Data Link Connector (DLC) screws and position aside.





3. Remove the steering column opening cover.
- Pull the steering column opening cover down, releasing the 6 retaining clips.






4. Remove the 2 upper steering column support bracket nuts and the steering column support bracket.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).






5. Lower the steering column and loosen the 2 lower steering column support bracket nuts.
- Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).






6. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the instrument cluster finish panel, pull the panel forward just enough to access electrical connectors before completely removing the panel.

Pull outward to remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.






7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
