LIGHT TRUCKS 1983 RANGER
Ranger vehicles that are used for aftermarket modifications involving removal of the pick-up box are required to have front and rear stabilizer bars installed.

Vehicles ordered with the optional camper package or handling package have these stabilizer bars included as part of the package. If the vehicle does not have stabilizer bars included, the following kits must both be installed:
^ Front Stabilizer Bar Kit E3TZ-5A486-A
^ Rear Stabilizer Bar Kit E3TZ-5B496-A
Installation schematics for these kits are shown in Figures 18 and 19.
The pick-up box removal alteration for Rangers is limited to 4x2 vehicles with a 113.9 inch wheelbase and a minimum GVWR of 4,260 pounds.
