Water Pump Removal and Installation

1. Drain cooling system, then disconnect radiator lower hose and heater return hose from water inlet housing.
2. Remove fan and clutch assembly using tools No. T83T-6312-A and B or equivalents.

NOTE: To determine whether the fan nut threads are right or left handed, refer to "Determining Thread Direction of Fan Clutch Retaining Nut".

3. On all models equipped with A/C, remove alternator and mounting bracket.
4. On models less A/C, remove alternator drive belt.
5. On all models, remove water pump pulley.
6. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
