FAST CODES - Located at the very beginning of the self-test sequence, the ECA generates standard service codes at a rate about 100 times faster than the star tester is able to read them.


FUEL PUMP MONITOR (FPM) - Input used to monitor the fuel pump electrical circuit.


FRESH AIR DUCT - Duct leading from the air inlet to the snorkel of the air cleaner. The duct conducts fresh, ambient air to the air cleaner. Also called a "zip tube."

FUEL TANK VAPOR VALVE - A valve mounted in the top of the fuel tank responsible for venting excess vapor and pressure from the fuel tank into the Evaporative Emission Control System.
