The State of California is in the process of developing a program that will soon require the completion of emissions recall repairs prior to vehicle registration renewal. Depending on the actual implementation date of this program, your car may be subject to these requirements.

We regret any problem this recall may cause you. We are doing this so you will be satisfied with your Ford-built car. In order to ensure your full protection under the emission warranty provisions, it is recommended that you have your car serviced as soon as possible. Failure to do so could be determined as lack of proper maintenance.
