Ford Motor Company is voluntarily recalling (Emissions Recall 90E94) certain 1984 and 1985-Model 5.0L engine equipped passenger cars. Your car's engine may be releasing air pollutants which exceed U.S. Federal standards.

What the Dealer At no cost to you, your Ford or Lincoln-
Will Do Mercury dealer will replace the exhaust
system catalyst on your car according to
the instructions provided by Ford. This
service should have little or no effect on
your car except to reduce air pollutants.

Call Your Dealer Call your dealer without delay and ask
for a service date. If your dealer does
not have the parts in stock, they can be
ordered before scheduling your appointment.

When you bring your car in, give the
dealer tbe enclosed form. If you misplace
the form, your dealer will still do the
work, free of charge.

Changed Address If you have, please fill out Section 1
or Sold the Car? of the enclosed prepaid postcard and mail
it to us.

If the dealer does not make the repair promptly and without charge, please fill out Section 3 of the prepaid postcard and mail it to us.

We regret any problem this recall may cause you. We are doing this so you will be satisfied with your Ford-built car. In order to ensure your full protection under the emission warranty provisions, it is recommended that you have your car serviced as soon as possible. Failure to do so could be determined as lack of proper maintenance.
