On initial production vehicles, a Service Code 15 will always occur in the Key-On/Engine-Off (KOEO) phase of the EEC-IV Self Test. No drive conditions are associated with this code.

A label attached to the processor will state, "This processor will always issue Self Test Service Code 15 during Key-On/Engine-Off test. Do not replace it with - out first troubleshooting EEC system".

NOTE: Not all initial production processors received warning labels.

Vehicle build dates: Jan. 14, 1985 through April 30, 1985.

If Service Code 15 occurs in the Continuous Memory phase of Self-Test, perform the action required by the Quick Test procedure (Step 3.0A) described in the 1985 Shop Manual (Volume H).
